Mr Burberry – The new fragrance for men comes to Pakistan

Last weekend was quite happening with events and ongoing Fashion week but kudos to scentsation and Mr Burberry for organising a so chilled out event to launch their new fragrance in Dolmen mall, Karachi. With prominent bloggers and celebrity presence the launch was talk of the town. The fragrance has some spicy notes making it interesting to wear.

Inspired by Burberry’s iconic black trench coat and by London, Mr. Burberry fragrance captures the essence of London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions – traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine.

The Mr. Burberry bottle is inspired by the black trench coat and its signature design details. Together, the fragrance and the bottle combine to encapsulate Mr. Burberry: the man and the world he lives in.

Mr. Burberry was created by Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, working in collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

The Mr. Burberry campaign was shot in London by Oscar® and Turner Prize-winning British director Steve McQueen in his first commercial film, and features British actor and musician Josh Whitehouse and British model and actress Amber Anderson. The soundtrack was created by British singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine.

The Fragrance

“Contemporary yet classically British in its structure, Mr. Burberry radiates modern and masculine sensuality.”

A sensual herbal woody eau de toilette, Mr. Burberry fuses classic scents of British perfumery with unexpected ingredients. Contemporary, sophisticated and sensual, the fragrance opens with notes of crisp zesty grapefruit, cut with a seductive base of earthy vetiver and smokey guaiac wood.

Sensual and elegant with a striking brightness, Mr. Burberry sets the tone with uplifting grapefruit. Establishing a halo of masculinity that permeates through the fragrance, the introduction of cardamom contributes complexity and sophistication with its spicy facet.

A broad and robust heart centres Mr. Burberry, its classic fougère structure uniquely remastered into a thoroughly contemporary creation. An accord of birch leaf warms the core while cedar wood provides power and balance to the livelier top notes.

The light and luminous base is a celebration of vetiver’s vibrant allure. Layered with guaiac wood, it graduates into a richly smokey scent without ever compromising its clean, earthy codes.
Mr. Burberry captures the essence of London, a city of great contrasts. Traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine, it perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own.

The Bottle

The bottle is inspired by the iconic black trench coat and its signature design details. Bold and masculine, the weighted cap references horn-look buttons, while a hand-tied knot in English-woven black gabardine sits around the neck, celebrating the innovative fabric invented by Thomas Burberry more than 100 years ago.

Customers will be able to personalise their 100ml or 150ml Mr. Burberry bottle with up to three initials through monogramming service available on and selected Burberry and wholesale stores.
