Best Iftaar Deals to have in Dolmen Mall

Dolmen mall is like a dream shopping place in Karachi because of all the amenities and the hospitality it has to offer with discounts and deals. During Ramazan it is a blessing to have a food court to break your fast after hectic shopping spree. The best part about the DMC food court is being kid friendly with well placed seating.

Dolmen Mall’s Food court has variety of options. You gotta choose from 32 cuisines available and that’s kidna amazing. I always got confused what to order and what not to. It is better to always keep in mind what you are going to order before landing there. Dolmen’s Facebook page helps a lot to decide before hand.

For Iftaar deals this year, the choice is unlimited. From casual food court to sophisticated Cafe dining, Dolmen has it all for everyone. Here are my picks from the best iftaar deals available this year.

KFC and chachajee iftaar Dolmen mall

Chachajee Iftaar

Chachajee offers desi menu and for iftar their thaali is just too good. It is like a mini iftaar cum dinner thaali. All in one kinda spread that too just for Rs 699. You can easily share the platter with a friend which makes it affordable iftar deal.

If your appetite is like me, you can easily gulp down this thali alone. Yes! I can have it all.

KFC Iftaar

Who doesn’t love fried chicken? It is my escape from ususal pakorra iftaar during Ramazan. I rrecommend KFC iftaar if you’re going tondolmem with siblings or family as their iftaar deals is great to share with 4 people.

Dunkin Donut

When it comes for best value for money iftaar deals, DD is my favorite. A classic DD meal for Just Rs 500 is the best iftaar deal in town. O’ So yum Omwich, pizza, donut and drink makes Dunkin Donut Iftaar a winner.

Dolmen Mall Restaurant/Cafe Iftaar

Cafes are a welcome change from casual dining experience at Food court. Cafe Zouk to Gloria jeans and upscale bufffet of Hakka chine, Dolmen has some cool options. If you’re into Pakistani fine dinning then Zouk is the place to go and if you’re a fan of Chinese and Pan Asian cuisine then definitely Hakka Chine Buffet is worth every penny. Lals ki iftaar is always a pleasant experience too.

Gunsmoke Iftaar

If you’re still confused what to eat or how to have a filling meal at Dolmen for less, then my bet is on Gunsmoke. Go there, order their soup and salad combo and enjoy all you can fill salad and soup lol. I loved Gunsmoke for this offer but during you’ll get it free with every meal. Fruit bar is also added for free in iftaar. So it is a good deal if you’re in mood of burgers and steak.

Special mention for Your Sweet Tooth

After all the iftaar deals sharing there’s one thing that you don’t want to share at all. This chocolate shake from Cosmopolitan is surely a must have. Oh and just in case you don’t know Cosmopolitan and Tiramisu recently opened up at DMC.

Magnum and Cinnabon are also for 10% off. So it is a happy iftaar for sweet lovers.

Have an idea about all the awesome Iftaar deals available at Dolmen Mall this year from this album and pick your favorite.

Dolmen Mall- The perfect place for babies and mommies day out

I ❤️ Dolmen and there’s no doubt Dolmen loves me equally. Proof? Lots and lots of things are there at DMC which makes it an ideal day out place for mommies with toddlers/kids. I have two hyperactive daughter MaShaAllah and it becomes very tough to shop with both of them Dolmen Mall Clifton has become an exceptional place. From women only parking lot to nappy changing areas and the best kids area makes DMC my favorite place to hang out with friends and family.

Let me list down some of the women and kids friendly facilities that Athens amazingly accommodating Dolmen Mall has to offer. Thank God they think like moms and have some great mommy friendly attractions to make shopping with kids a memorable experience.

Women Only Parking

The service was introduced last year and now expanding area in the parking lot is what women needs the most. Our very own parking space that too near the entrance gate is the perfect welcome you need.

Kids carts

This is the best thing. You enter the mall and on your left see some bright colored cars/carts parked for pickup. My kids just love riding these and imitate like a driver while sitting in there. It also makes hanging your shopping bags easier instead of carrying that weight all the time. So a thumbs up.

Pro Tip: if you’re going with two kids and get the double cart, it might become difficult to push that if your babies are MaShaAllah se healthy. If you know what I mean. Also, the cart wheels don’t stuck in the elevator like shopping trolley which makes it difficult to hold with kids riding. Better to take single car.

Nursing room with Nappy changing area

This is the best facility out there. No other place has a dedicated nursing and diaper changing area that too so we’ll decorated that you fell in love with it. Women washroom area is a neat clean wide space with a dedicated Nursing room. Decorated with pink wallpaper, a comfy seating place to feed babies and a nappy changing tray make sit ideal for mommies with toddlers to rest and recharge.

There’s a prayer area there too which is wall to wall carpeted and very neat. Washrooms were pretty well taken care of too.

Sindbad

the top floor you’ll find the best place to get your kids busy. Whenever I go to DMC, husband use to take the kids inside Sindbad while I go to shop for myself and then he goes to shop for groceries while I take care of kids there. Perfect plan. Now that Sindbad has celebrated its 26th year and built a new playing area and a hiking wall, you di t need to worry about kids at all.

My kids were in love with the ball pit and the trampoline inside kids play area. They charge per hour for the place and it is pretty awesome. Totally worth it.

The Food court

And last but not the least is definitely the awesome food court, catering to the needs of kids as well as mommy’s favorite food after all that shopping and playing. Loved the variety of food from fast food, Chinese to Desi. You name it and DMC has it.

You the Best for Mommies DMC. You the best.

What else a mommy need? Other than a peaceful shopping spree with the ease of getting so many kids attractions. Thank you Dolmen for the taking care of us, mommies that well. You’re the best.

So, when are you hanging out with kids at DMC?

Independence Day Mega Celebrations at Dolmen Malls

Dolmen Mall, Pakistan’s first international standard mall, is famous for being at the forefront of every major national celebration. With every event, they have continued to raise the bar when it comes to family entertainment and shopping in Karachi.

As our Independence Day approaches, we see the city changing itself to represent the colours of Pakistan, and Dolmen did not stay behind in giving its visitors a flavour of patriotism. This year, their theme, ‘Dolmen loves Pakistan’, was weaved around the concept of #HamariPehchan aimed at giving people a chance to celebrate Pakistan’s identity. Spanning across all three malls, namely Dolmen Mall Clifton, Dolman Mall Tariq Road and Dolmen Mall Hyderi, the event kicked off on 12th of August 2016.

Dolmen Mall Clifton independence day celebrations

“Living in a time where there is so much uncertainty and negativity surrounding our identity as a nation, we wanted to celebrate the achievements and entertainment aspects of Pakistan which we are known for. These things are relatable to the older as well as the younger generation of this country and they need to be celebrated. This is what makes us proud as Pakistanis,”

said Anum Nadeem, Marketing Head of the Dolmen Group at the event.

A weekend worth of activities were executed in all its patriotic glamour and glory. For this, the mall was draped in shades of greens and whites. The walkways saw magnificent replicas of the country’s monuments. From live murals of national heroes to specially dressed guards standing and saluting the customers, the entire mall gave off 14th August vibes. The main atrium was designed to take the mall-goers on a photographic journey through Pakistan and its rich culture. Adding to the desi feel, a dhaaba was set up by Chai Wala offering fresh parathas and chai for all those craving for a cup of tea, Pakistan’s undisputed favourite drink. Folk music and a special Azadi Bazaar selling flags, badges, and other patriotic merchandise set the right mood to the three-day event.

To mark the eve of Independence Day, a grandiose performance by Sounds of Kolachi dazzled the audience. The soulful music melted into the beautiful notes of our National Anthem at precisely 12 AM, amidst a shower of confetti while the guards raised the flag and saluted. The moment was breathtakingly beautiful.

On the same night, visitors at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road were enthralled to find Noori performing live and did not shy away from fully enjoying patriotic beats.

On the digital front, an instagram competition was hosted, allowing amateur photographers to showcase their talent. Top three photographs were selected and awarded with prizes. More prizes awaited all those who visited Dolmen wearing green. Shoppers and visitors were, thus, pleasantly surprised at various occasions.

As another successful event comes to an end, Dolmen stands tall and proud; the management determined to keep providing more quality events and celebrations to its visitors. Let’s wait to see what they have in store for the next event!

Harry Potter and the cursed child launch party at DMC

It was certainly magical times at Dolmen Mall for the potterheads in Karachi as the much anticipated JK Rowling book hits the stands in style. What a memorable Harry Potter birthday it was but first let me thank Dolmen Mall for Back to school and Dolmen Bazaar event which actually leads to the Harry Potter launch party.

Pakistan’s first international standard mall, Dolmen mall, is renowned for always staying a step ahead of its competitors.  As summer 2016 approached its end, Dolmen hosted the city’s biggest Back to School Festival. Held from 29th to 31st July 2016 across all three Dolmen Malls, the festival aimed at school going kids and families; giving them a chance to celebrate and be excited about the beginning of another scholastic year.

The Marketing Head at Dolmen, Anum Nadeem said,

“We’re holding this event for the first time and are expecting families to shop, eat and have fun. We’ve brought together some great shopping options for our customers.”

At Dolmen Mall Clifton, the Back to School edition of the Dolmen Bazaar saw leading retailers like Hub, Leisure Club, Kidz Dunya & Sindbad as well as budding entrepreneurial ventures like Magic Hands and Paperworks showcase their Back to school range. From school bags, notebooks and stationery to a delightful display of balloon art, the little ones thoroughly enjoyed themselves in this maze of amazement. Parents, on the other hand, rejoiced the rare opportunity for their kids to have fun in a safe and family-friendly environment.

Harry Potter and the cursed child launch party at DMC Adding some magic to the cauldron of excitement, Dolmen Mall conjured up the launch of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in collaboration with Liberty Books on the third day of Back to School Festival. The launch of the 8th Harry Potter book was held on Harry Potter’s birthday, 31st July.  The response was staggering; the event saw a union of three generations of Potterheads. From five year old HP fanatics flaunting painted scars on their foreheads, to tweens donned in wizard’s robes – even grownups didn’t shy away from swishing their wands and crying out “Wingardium Leviosa”.

Fans lined up at 9:30 AM to receive their copy of the awaited book on this unique occasion where Harry Potter fandom was so majestically celebrated in Pakistan. Thematic décor, wands, hats, trivia games, giveaway for the best dressed fans and countless photo opportunities with a truly magical ambience and music, the event was a memorable one.

Dolmen Mall capitalized on the organic pull of Harry Potter fandom and took Back to School Festival to a whole new level. The event exceeded expectation on all fronts, and provided visitors with three days of festivity in a completely family-friendly environment. Dolmen aims to continue surprising its visitors with more such events in the future.

Bloggers and Key Opinion Leaders were hosted by Dolmen Mall and given out special Harry Potter themed giveaways. They shared the impact the book has had on their lives and also relived their back to school memories. They were provided refreshments in the form of crispy and grilled chicken from Golden Chick and delicious cupcakes and coffee from Lals. Everyone left the vicinity of the mall happy and content, with a copy of their favourite book with them.
