#TasteTheGlory – Exceptional Outdoor branding by Lays

Lays Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned this year when it comes to creative branding and surprising the audiences. From the #LaysLegends to #CleanAndGreen and then UEFA champions league association, lays Pakistan is going bigger and better. In the recent past you must’ve spotted life size neon lit cutouts of Akram and Messi at Tariq road roundabout. It looks as if they’re both playing. Unreal and catchy.

This time lays Pakistan has done something beyond my expectations. The Palm round about near dolmen mall, clifton has been turned into a glitzy and glamorous football stadium. The installation is so mesmerizing with all those creative lighting and brilliant placement of action figure of Messi showing his moves. It’s like giving life to a grand tournament like UEFA champions league. Woah!!! Looks like i am in Milan.

Truly exceptional. I haven’t seen anything like this before in Karachi. The same roundabout was earlier use for DewMocracy too but lays Pakistan installation is pretty huge and cool. The UEFA champions league dubsmash and #TasteTheGlory competitions are still on to win tickets to Milan. I must admit that I had a trip down memory lane after watching the recent TVC by Pepsi. It reminds me of good old college days when all you can have during class breaks is the boring canteen food and only a chilled bottle of Pepsi was there to save the day. The canteen burger might not be the fanciest but when gulped down with Pepsi, it was worth it. Memories revived.

The concept of pairing food with a cold drink might not be new but what’s exciting about Pepsi meals campaign is definitely the execution of tagline ‘Khana baney exciting’.

Today’s youth and their excitement for unique life experiences, their mantra of no-time-for-dull-moments is beautifully captured in the TVC. Food can be a little boring at times but Pepsi can jazz up the taste.

Check out how the brand conveys new Meals campaign with an aim to turn a dull, boring meal into a scrumptious one by adding Pepsi to it. The cool TVC features the hottest young stars of TV, Syra and Feroz who are seen turning their boring meals super exciting with Pepsi.

7up claymation #AsalFoodie chat will tickle your funny bone

Advertisements have become part of our daily routine as much as TV shows. Sometimes we get bored of them, sometimes we enjoy them and sometimes they are annoying but we love them. Brands are taking viewers concern seriously these days and try to come up with entertaining and unique concepts to market their product. 7up is one such brand which never fails to impress with its experimental (and successful) advertising.

Like in the recent past 7up double decker foodie bus has an impressive journey in Lahore and Karachi. They’ve delighted Karachi with a floating board at do darya and an awesomely cool foodie cruise too. 7up is truly emerging as a giant when it comes to mind blowing outdoors and unique campaigns.

The reason I am writing this is the newly released 7up claymation video that I’ve just seen on Facebook. Oh my God!! It’s so cute. Biryani vs Chaat talks will tickle your funny bone. Who would’ve thought to give dialogues to a plate of scrumptious biryani and delicious chaat. Only #AsalFoodie can do that. Hats off to the creative minds behind such cuteness that’s never been done before by any brand.

The way this interesting #AsalFoodie conversation ends will make you crave for more. For me, Na biryani na Chaat the Asal winner is always 7up 🙂 I hope 7up continues with this claymation idea and make a series of #AsalFoodie videos.
